Chicago, IL-Press Conference (preceding court hearing) to Condemn Suppression and Attacks on Protestors
            Opposing Police Brutality
WHERE:  Belmont & Western Courthouse 2542 W. Belmont Ave Chicago, IL 60618

This press conference is taking place immediately before the court hearing for two protestors against police brutality who were beaten by police at a protest against police brutality.  Youth victims of a police assault they have been charged with felony  Battery on Police. 
These voices of conscience will condemn the suppression of protestors and demand an end to that suppression.
On Saturday, December 13 Police held more than 400 protestors on narrow sidewalks endangering public safety and abrogating their right to protest.
            They arrested people for merely stepping off the sidewalk.
            They split the march when it was crossing streets and the lights changed
            They prevented the protest from crossing streets EVEN WHEN the light was green
            They attacked and beat protestors
            They drove into the crowd of protestors and people witnessed commanders having to get between them and protestors to hold them back.
Police Brutality and Murder MUST STOP
Police Suppression of the struggle for Justice MUST STOP
