Immediate Release: Press Conference outside of Chicago C.P.D HEADQUARTERS
(D.O.J has failed American Communities)
***** Media Advisory *****
On This coming Friday July 8, 2016 at 11:30 am-Violence Interpreters, Freedom First International, Midwest Coalition for Social Justice along with other community activist (groups) and organizers will conduct a Press Conference outside of the CPD Headquarters Chicago, IL to make several special announcements for the local (south side) Chicago community to continue to join together and apply community support to address National Police Brutality Murders of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Gun Violence, and the dismal failure of Chicago Police to stop it’s growing homicide level. We also want to discuss the growing level of frustration between police and the community-that results in problem that we have seen in Dallas, which tragically has resulted in additional loss of lives-this time from police.
The Department of Justice’s failure to help prosecute police who kill innocent civilians aka (Domestic Terrorists) with American blood on their hands in the same manner as those that harm Americans overseas. Labeling as police Domestic Terrorist can play a large role in creating additional resources perhaps from Office of Justice for Victims of Terrorism which may require the D.O.J to create an office to assist U.S. victims of Domestic Terrorists and pressure the D.O.J to prosecute these terrorists
For their effort, they (group) believe that the integrity of the black and poor minority community is being threatened by the violence, bad leadership, and lack of education and that ongoing and progressive solutions must be sought, not political grandstanding.
We would like to discuss the Chicago Homicide Statics which is a twenty year high.
